![]() It’s easier to take photographs, and you can take better photographs, from the Tembo Galleria.Views from the Tembo Galleria are marginally better than the Tembo Deck.There are fewer shops and photo spots blocking the view, and you can get closer to the windows. Fuji, SumidaRiver, Tokyo Bay and the Tokyo Skyline as all the twinkling lights came on. We arrived 20mins before sunset and watched the sunset and dusk right across the Tokyo skyline from our table - was just brilliant. The Tembo Galleria’s windows are less obstructed compared to the Tembo Deck. We had an amazing dinner/views at SkyTree 634 recently (ie SkyTree).It wraps around Skytree twice, for twice the 360 degree views of Tokyo. ![]() ![]() Sky Circus is awkwardly located as far as panoramic views of Tokyo are concerned. Skytree (height) and Tokyo Government Metropolitan Building (location) are also quite fair options, though Skytrees height and location might often be a hindrance. The elevator to go to the Tembo Galleria is awesome: glass section in the ceiling = time warp. Mori Tower (Roppongi Hills) has probably the best view of the city considering its central location.Here are 6 reasons why the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Galleria is worth it: If you’ve spent money coming to Japan, getting to the Tokyo Skytree, and now are debating on whether to go to the top of the top of Japan, 450m, vs staying at 350m… just go for the combined Skytree Tembo Galleria and Tembo Deck ticket. Expect less people at the top, the ability to get up close to the windows, a marginally better view and better photography opportunities. Tokyo SkyTree, on the other hand, is better if you want to experience modern technology and go for some shopping afterward. Tokyo Tower is great if you want a closer view of the city and feel the history of Japan. In my opinion, yes, going to the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Galleria (Upper Level) is worth it. In an ideal world, you’d be able to visit both as each has its own unique features.
